Books You May Like

Published February 4, 2015 by Cat Royal

I have read many books in the short amount of time I’ve been alive, so I thought I could share some of my favourites.

Number 1 is ‘A Question of Magic’ by E.D Baker. You might have seen my comment on the book recommendation post, so I won’t go in to much detail. For those of you who haven’t seen my comment this is what it is about. Seraphina  is a normal girl in the medieval times and has to embark on a magical adventure involving a Baba Yaga (future telling witch), chicken leg houses, giants and a pinch of magic! The whole idea of the story is that Seraphina has to become Baba Yaga and starts helping people with the help of a magic book. What she doesn’t realise is that for every question answered, she gains a couple of years. Seraphina and some friends go on a quest to find a special blue rose potion. Along the way she meets some great friends and magical creatures. It is a very charming book which I think you would enjoy very much if you read it.

Number 2 is ‘Warrior Cats’ a series of six by Erin Hunter about a ginger coloured ‘clan cat’. The cat’s name is Rusty at the beginning and lives with humans. One night he ventures from his home in to the forest where he meets the clan cats and leaves his human life to join them. His name is changed to Fireheart and he goes from an apprentice to a warrior and eventually a clan leader. It is a brilliant series for animal lovers and I certainly know some people who love this fantastic series!

I think these two books are only really the best books worthy of being on this post and I would really appreciate if you read them and commented on them

My Favourite Authors and their books

All the Roald Dahl books are comically fun. My favourite of all is ‘Esio Trot’, it is a funny , imaginative  book about a man who has a talent of tortoise swapping (read it to see what I mean).

I strongly recommend ‘Boy in a dress’ by David Walliams. It is a charming story with a laugh and also a funny twist.

I also think Lemony Snicket is awesome! It rather serious and frightening , but is also fun and mischievous too.

I would really like it if you read these books and commented, I definitely know a few people who will enjoy these marvellous stories.
